Dental Clinic Calgary NE
Dr. Laura Brescia, D.D.S., B.Sc.
Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Dr. Laura Brescia has been practicing dentistry in Calgary for 11 years and is happy to call this city home. She did her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Victoria and completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Western Ontario.
She is known for her gentle and caring manner with patients. Many patients who have been nervous about dental work in the past have been surprised to find themselves comfortable and relaxed in her care. As a mother of three young children, she has a special affinity for working with children and their families.
Dr. Brescia considers furthering her knowledge an integral part of her practice and is well experienced in all aspects of dentistry. Her focus is on preventative dentistry and she believes that the best dentistry results in the need for no dental treatment at all. In 2013 she completed over 200 hours of education while involving herself in numerous study groups to the benefit of her dental practice and patients.
The numerous hours Dr. Brescia spends on her continuing education allows her to practice dentistry in a comprehensive manner. She also loves how attending courses continually brings back her excitement about dentistry, making every work day enjoyable for her. She wants to stay current on new techniques and the best materials, allowing her to provide her patients with a wealth of options for treatment.
Dr. Laura is an avid runner, competing in numerous marathons, including the Boston Marathon in 2013. On weekends she enjoys skiing, cycling, back country camping and hiking in the mountains with her family.

Ali had been interested in working in the dental community since she was a little girl. She would always respond to the familiar question “What do you want to be when you grow up?’ with “A full time runner and part time dentist!” She fulfilled that desire when she went back to school to become a dental hygienist some many years later. She finds the dental world fascinating and is very happy to be part of it. Ali loves her daily interaction with patients and is passionate about helping patients get the oral health they want to achieve.

Keisha has worked with Dr. Brescia for the majority of her career and enjoys the professional, high energy atmosphere at Alpine Dental. Professional development is important to her. She was very proud to have the privilege of studying in Vancouver with Dr. Brescia to further her knowledge of Botox therapeutic and cosmetic treatments.
