Dr. Marc-Olivier Bergeron completed his Doctor in Dental Medicine degree at the University of Montreal in 2020. During his studies, he traveled to Bolivia with Dentist Without Borders to provide essential dental care to rural communities around La Paz. He began his dental career as a flying dentist, serving the remote Inuit and Cree communities in Northern Quebec, before moving to the West and call Calgary his home.
Dr. Bergeron’s calm and confident demeanour is evident in his patient care. Patients that have been nervous in dental settings frequently praise the efficiency and gentleness of his treatments, appreciating his ability to foster a comfortable and reassuring environment.
His approach to dentistry is evidence-based, comprehensive, and conservative. Embracing a “less is more” philosophy, he collaborates closely with each patient to achieve and maintain the healthy smile they deserve.
Being an outdoor enthusiast with a deep passion for adventure, Dr. Bergeron is an avid backcountry skier, rock climber, and hiker, exploring the majestic Rocky Mountains when he is not practicing dentistry. Beyond his mountain pursuits, he enjoys traveling and discovering new places, immersing himself in different cultures notably through their cuisine and capturing the essence of his journeys through photography.
Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. Bergeron is also fluent in French and warmly welcomes French-speaking patients at Alpine Dental!
